Art classes for individuals with developmental, physical and emotional disabilities located at the Westchester Insititute for Human Development in Valhalla, NY.

Classes run for sixty minutes each and are priced at $150.00 for five weeks of instruction.  Ages 14 to adult and beyond.

2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

The Song Inside

Students will share their favorite songs and from there learn the components of song, rythym, melody, etc. and then work toward creating their own songs.

2:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Words, Words, Words...

Experience the magic of words to tell your own story, real or imagined, through poetry, fiction and non-fiction.

3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

Discovery + Process = Creativity (a mixed media/art class)

Students will explore a range of artistic media and art forms, with each class providing new and enjoyable creative opportunities.

3:00 - 4:00 p.m.

The Stage Is The Thing!

Students will focus on music and drama as forms of self-exploration and self-expression.

4:00 - 5:00 p.m.

Through A Lens

Students will explore the digital mediums of videography and photography.  Each student will receive a DVD of the course work.
