The Town of Bedford department of public works recognized five Westchester Arc supported employment individuals at an appreciation lunch held at the Bedford Community House. “We would like to recognize the Westchester Arc staff for their dedication and work ethic in assisting the town in keeping our three hamlets clean,” said Bill Heidepriem, superintendent of recreation and parks.
Lee Roberts, Bedford town supervisor and Tom Hughes, Westchester Arc associate executive director, were on hand to extend their congratulations along with other members of the Bedford parks department and Westchester Arc staff. In addition to a pizza lunch, the town presented each crew member with a few items including shirts, hats, vests and brooms.
