All evaluation reports are prepared by a licensed clinical psychologist trained in cognitive-intellectual assessment.
Anyone exhibiting signs of developmental delay or current clients in need of updated evaluations to determine treatment needs and continued service eligibility.
Testing takes approximately two hours and involves a review of the respondent’s medical, developmental, academic, occupational and treatment history, as well as a clinical interview and observation and administration of normatively-based, cognitive-intellectual and adaptive-behavioral tests.
Psychological testing is critical in confirming or ruling out the presence of developmental disability in persons being evaluated for the first time. It is also useful in assessing the current functioning level and related needs of an individual already identified as having developmental disabilities.
