Spring Ball Fever: Preparing the Look

The ladies begin their shopping spree.

Move over Academy Awards, this year’s fashion trends belong to the ladies of Mamaroneck Manor, who recently shopped for formal wear in preparation for Westchester Arc’s 20th Annual Spring Ball.

Six women, along with staff, scoured the aisles of Dress Barn, Syms and Loehmann’s in search of the perfect couture. Selections ranged from classic evening gowns to modern-day pant suits.

They sift through scores of gowns to find the perfect fit.

Marisa T. tries on one of several
  possibilities.

To complete their look, the ladies will
have their hair styled and visit the manicurist on the day of the ball.

For added panache, they’ll travel by
stretch limo to the evening’s festivities.

“I love getting dressed up. It makes
me feel special,” says Nancy D. “I can’t wait for this year’s Spring Ball. I’m
looking forward to seeing my friends
and dancing with my man.”

The ladies aren’t the only ones pondering their ensembles. Over at the agency’s Park Circle residence, Eddie C. skims his closet in search of the right suit and tie combo, while Will H. schedules a
manicure of his own.

The Spring Ball, sponsored by the agency’s recreational services, will
be held on May 4 at the Westchester Marriott.

Denise S. completes her purchase.

After a long day of shopping, the ladies find success.

Back at home, Della S. shows off her dress. “It’s a keeper!” she says.
