Westchester Arc Elects New Board Members

Board members are sworn in by Westchester Arc Foundation President Katharine Wilson Conroy.
Westchester Arc elected new board members at the agency's annual meeting, held on June 13 at the Crowne Plaza, White Plains. Anne M. Majsak, was named president. Ms. Majsak has been a Westchester Arc board member since 1991 and previously served as second vice president. She is also co-chair of the Parent Assistance Committee on Down Syndrome (PACDS), a support network that helps new parents of children with Down syndrome to understand their babies and develop their full potential.
"This is an exciting time for Westchester Arc, and I'm honored to have an opportunity to lead such an innovative agency," states Ms. Majsak. "As president, I will focus on establishing more opportunities for social, vocational and residential inclusion, opening the agency's "Gateway to the Community" in Hawthorne, and strengthening the fine programs we already offer."
