Individual Giving

Individual giving is how we maintain the high quality of our programs.

Since its inception in 1949, Westchester Arc has received generous support each year from individuals living in Westchester County and vicinity. Some of our programs are entirely dependent on the support of individuals who believe in the work we are doing. There are many ways for an individual to support Westchester Arc. Most gifts are fully tax-deductible under IRS Code 501 (c) (3).

Ways to give

Become a Member - Westchester Arc is a membership organization. Any person may become a member simply by completing a membership application and paying a basic membership fee.

Make a Family Pledge - Friends, parents, siblings and other relatives of individuals who are served by Westchester ARC are asked to consider an annual pledge to the Westchester Arc Foundation. This pledge can be made as a one-time gift or can be billed monthly or quarterly. A family pledge can also be charged to a credit card.

Support the Year-End Appeal - During the holiday season, a special effort is made to make certain that the resources are there to not only guarantee our programs and services, but also to assure that the people we serve have an enjoyable and fulfilling holiday season. Many recipients of our services have no immediate family to spend the holidays with and Westchester Arc, its staff and many volunteers, fill this role.

Donate a Vehicle - We can turn your used vehicle into cash that will be used to support the programs and services of Westchester Arc.

Make a Planned Gift - Planned giving is the integration of giving to your charitable interests with a  personal financial plan.
