Join us in making a difference
Every voice strengthens the chorus - join us in advocating for the needs and rights of people with developmental disabilities.
We collaborate with local, state, and federal associations to educate members of government and providers of services on issues of concern to persons with developmental disabilities and their families. Issues addressed in the past include budgetary and financial needs, staffing, healthcare decision-making, estate planning, and discrimination against persons with developmental disabilities. We proudly undertake these efforts in conjunction with The Arc US on the federal level and NYSARC Inc. on the state level.

Neighborhood Legal Services
Neighborhood Legal Services, Inc. (NLS) is a not-for-profit agency located in Buffalo, New York. NLS provides free legal services to persons with low incomes and persons with disabilities. It also provides a wide range of technical assistance and support services. NLS operates both a statewide and national assistive technology advocacy project to support persons with disabilities and the advocates and agencies who serve them.

Advocating Change Together (ACT)
ACT is a grassroots civil rights organization run by people with developmental and other disabilities. ACT provides information on the self-advocacy movement and offers links to programs, conferences and other networking opportunites.

Statewide not-for-profit organization run by people with disabilities for people with disabilities.
